“Speedway” Jeff Humphrey

“Speedway” Jeff Humphrey grew up with a radio always tuned to 70s Pop or Midwestern Album Oriented Rock stations. He owes his appreciation for all types of music to a grandfather that hosted a “Barn Dance” show on the hometown AM station, a Dad that played anything from Ray Connif to Johnny Cash to Buddy Holly to Pink Floyd, and diverse and plentiful album and cassette collections at his local library, where he would also read up on his favorite and up and coming bands.

Aside from days at the track, Jeff spends his spare time creating unreasonably large playlists on streaming services and learning new music by tolerating the car stereo being turned to his daughter’s favorite stations.
